With this "loop" the possibility of exploring the Fucecchio Marshes is offered; through a truly unique route you will be able to admire the different varieties of birds and plants of the largest marshy area in Italy which covers five of the ten Tuscan provinces. In some periods of the year, guided tours within the area can be organized - free of charge - with environmental guides.

La Svizzera Pesciatina - km50 - m+ 1000

very characteristic day from a landscape point of view where you will have the opportunity to cycle in a very green area with unique landscapes. The area also called the ten Castella or Switzerland Pesciatina owes its name to Jean Charles Leonard, a Swiss writer who gave this name the area where he would recognize the mountains of his homeland.Switzerland.

Day 4 / Stage 3

Montalbano & Leonardo - km65 - m+ 700

Through the Tuscan countryside you arrive at Vinci, birthplace of the genius: Leonardo. Possibility to visit the birthplace of Anchiano and the town. We continue with a gentle and regular climb up to San Baronto, a destination much appreciated by all Tuscan and foreign cyclists. You can organize a tasting visit / light lunch at a local company where you can taste oil and wine from the Montalbano hills.

La Montagna Pistoiese - km50 - m+ 1000

Giornata dedicata agli amanti della Montagna.Attraverso una salita piuttosto regolare ma molto lunga - attraversando i paesi di Marliana e Goraiolo - si arrivera’ alla localita’ di Femminamorta,posizionata ai circa 850 mt di altitudine.Da li una lunga e gradevole discesa si arriva fino alla pianura pistoiese, il loop si conclude in hotel dopo una gran bella giornata, dove sicuramenti i tuoi occhi avranno potuto godere di un impareggiabile panorama.

Ville rinascimentali e Colline Lucchesi - km70 - m+ 700

Cultural ride today. Along the Lucca plain you arrive in Lucca, the famous city of 100 churches and its still intact Renaissance walls. The city is one of the most beautiful in all of Tuscany, you will have the opportunity to explore and enjoy a coffee. The ride continues up to Villa Reale, one of the most beautiful Renaissance villas in the whole area, where you will have the opportunity to visit the garden and/or the villa (ticket must be purchased). With a succession of ups and downs you cross the wonderful hills overlooking Lucca, and it will be pure enjoyment for the eyes and legs.

Day 7 / Stage 6

la Valdinievole - km65 - m+ 400

Today you will be able to cycle in the geographical area called: Val Di Nievole. The name refers to the Nievole river which crosses the valley and the various towns such as Montecatini Terme. A stop in the town of Cerreto Guidi cannot be missed and perhaps even an oil tasting or wine, considering the various local companies in the town.

Our structure, just a few minutes from Lucca, Pistoia and Florence, in the middle of Tuscany, in its noble heart offers: A variety of geographical areas unique in the world, from the protected area of the Fucecchio marshes, to the suggestive Switzerland Pesciatina, in the rolling hills of Lucca, immersed in the enchanted Val di Nievole, Montalbano. We identified and then created, in collaboration with our former cyclist guides, a variety of routes, the result of long work which highlight not only altitudes and distances but above all a series of points of cultural and gastronomic interest. The cycle tourist has the opportunity to cycle on the roads of the 2013 world championship and to be able to enjoy the wonderful Tuscan landscapes, a real tour in the various historical eras, Roman finds, villages, ancient parish churches and medieval castles, Renaissance cathedrals, up to the most recent ones from the Baroque period.
