If you like climbing and cycling in places where the mountain is the protagonist, come to the Eastern Pyrenees.

A five-stage tour with difficult mountain passes that will take you to discover the Catalan and French Pyrenees to arrive in Andorra via the Envalira pass, the highest paved pass in the Pyrenees at 2,409 meters above sea level.

We will climb eight first-class passes, the same climbs traveled by “La Vuelta a España” in its passages in Andorra

We will also have time to relax in the Caldea spa, taste the local food and wine and visit the capital of Andorra la Vella.

Day 1

TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL AND WELCOME BRIEFING

On the first day we will be collected from our van and transferred to our hotel in Les Preses, in the heart of the La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. At the hotel we will participate in a briefing about general information about the tour. We will then proceed with the setting up of the bicycles for those customers who have contracted a bike rental. In the afternoon, depending on the arrival time, we will do a first short ride to get to know the whole team. At the end of this first day we will participate in a fantastic welcome dinner at the hotel, with the whole team.

Day 2 / Stage 1

OLOT - SORIGUEROLA Km 106 m+ 2,862

After a good breakfast based on local products we will start the first stage inside the Garraotxa Natural Park, heading towards Ripoll, famous for its monastery. In Ripoll we will stop for a refreshment before tackling the Coll de la Creueta, a mountain pass made famous by the passage of the Vuelta a Catalunya. Halfway up the climb we will pass by Castellar de n'Hug where we will stop to recover our strength before reaching the summit at 1,950m. Once we reach the summit we will cycle on flat ground to La Molina, from where we will begin the final descent that will take us to La Cerdanya where we can finally relax in our Hotel

Day 3 / Stage 2

SORIGUEROLA - ANDORRA LA VELLA Km 74 m+ 1,576

We will start the second stage towards Andorra crossing old rural roads surrounded by green pastures until we enter the French region of the Eastern Pyrenees. We will arrive at the town of Porté-Puymorens, from where we will zigzag up to reach the top of the homonymous mountain, from here a wonderful panoramic view of the Andorran mountains. After passing through the village of El Pas de la Casa we will enter Andorra by climbing the Envalira pass at 2.409m. from here we will descend for 28km until we reach the capital Andorra La Vella.

Day 4 / Stage 3

COMELLA - ORDINO Km 64 m+ 2,060

We will begin this third stage with three beautiful climbs that will take us to the highest point at 2,093m. After the village of Alt de la Comella the climb becomes harder and will take us to Alt d'Engolaster, here we will stop to appreciate the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. We will then follow pedaling towards the hard climbs that will take us to today's goal, the mountain pass of Cortal d'Encamp also made famous by the passage of La Vuelta a España We will finish the stage with the ascent of the Coll d'Ordino, one of the most beautiful mountain passes in the Andorra area, to then descend to our comfortable hotel.

Day 5 / Stage 4

LA GALLINA - LA RABASSA Km 73 m+ 3,230

Today we will tackle the challenging climbs that will take us to the Coll de la Gallina and La Rabassa in the south of the Principality, which will delight the most enthusiastic cyclists. We will start by heading towards the Coll de la Gallina and after a hard effort we will reach the summit and then descend towards Fontfreda. This area is very popular with professional cyclists who come to train in the beautiful mountains and challenging climbs. After the last mountain pass, just as beautiful but not as hard as the previous one that will take us to Naturlandia, an adventure park in the Pyrenees that we can visit before returning to our hotel in Andorra

Day 6 / Stage 5

BEIXALÍS - PAL Km 68 m+ 2,084

On our last leg we will leave Andorra to climb three beautiful mountain passes The Coll de Beixalís at an altitude of 1,790m can be reached via a road with a very steep slope until it reaches extreme levels, and then becomes easier and easier on the legs. During the descent we will stop in the exclusive Anyós Park sports club, where we will enjoy a drink on its pleasant terrace. In La Massana, we will start the road that will take us to the Coll d'en Cabús, category 1 pass in La Vuelta a España. Climbing to the top we will be able to admire the wonderful views on the summit of Comapedrosa, the highest mountain in Andorra Halfway down the descent we allow ourselves a final climb and head towards the ski resort of Pal-Arinsal, stage arrival in the 1993 edition of the Tour de France and our spectacular tour of the Pyrenees.
